Account Deletion Request

ShiftMedix is a provider scheduling platform deployed and managed by your healthcare organization. Because your account is tied to your employer's system, account deletion is handled by your organization's administrator — not directly through the app.

Why it works this way

ShiftMedix accounts are created and owned by your employer — the healthcare organization that licenses the platform. Your account is linked to their scheduling system and may be required for coverage and compliance purposes as long as you are employed there.

Because of this, only your organization's administrator can remove your account. This protects the integrity of the schedule and ensures coverage records are not inadvertently lost.

How to request account deletion

Contact your scheduling administrator
Reach out to the administrator at your hospital, clinic, or physician group who manages your ShiftMedix account — typically a medical director, department head, or scheduling coordinator.

Request removal from the platform
Ask them to remove your provider profile from ShiftMedix. They can do this directly from the admin dashboard. Your account, shift history, and personal information will be deleted from the active system.

Confirm what data is retained
Historical scheduling records (past shift assignments, swap history) may be retained for a limited period for operational and audit purposes — even after your account is removed. Your administrator can clarify your organization's retention policy.

If you are unable to reach your administrator, or if you believe your account has not been deleted after a reasonable time, contact us directly and we will assist you.
